What's in a name?

Quite a bit, judging from the conflict in the Prior Lake-Savage school district, where the decision about what to call the new high school remains divisive in the race for school board seats.

Many residents and school board candidates from Savage are miffed that the board stuck with the old name - Prior Lake High School - when naming the new school, even though it is in Savage and enrolls many Savage students.

They say that name excludes Savage and the townships that make up the district and has driven a wedge ...
