rIO DE JANEIRO -- The South Atlantic offshore areas will see increased drilling activities all the way from the Campos Basin in Brazil to the Falkland Islands and off Argentina's Tierra del Fuego at the southernmost tip of the continent.
In what may be the most promising and perhaps controversial activity, the British government is working on the final details for opening up the huge and unexplored Falkland Island Basin for oil and gas exploration.
