Anyone thinking this is a 200-page study of the Nuremberg Chronicle is in for a big surprise: it is at the same time both less and more than that. Just as Anton Koberger brought out two versions of the Chronicle in 1493, one in Latin and one in German, so in a similar way Christoph Reske provides two versions of his study, but in a single volume.
