Oct. 8--PALLET COMPANY ACQUIRES COMPETITOR BASED IN VERMONT: FORT EDWARD, N.Y.--Pallets Inc., a third-generation manufacturer of wood pallets, skids and crates, has acquired equipment -- and, ideally, market share -- from Killington Wood Products, its Vermont-based competitor, which Pallets bought.

Under the deal, Pallets will transfer machinery to its 14-acre site on East Street in Fort Edward over the next several months, Chief Executive Clint Binley said. He declined to reveal financial terms of the ...
