The American Bar Association Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section's (TIPS) task force on asbestos litigation has initiated a new Web site, http:// www.abanet.org/tips/atf, to track the most current developments in asbestos litigation.

Over the past 20 years, asbestos claims have skyrocketed, growing from nearly 16,000 pending claims in 1982 to more than 100,000 cases currently pending.
