The losses attributed to mold have become one of the major problems in the property and casualty industry today. Mold claims were nearly unheard of only two or three years ago, and now a single insurer may have cases numbering in the thousands. There are even predictions of industry-wide claim totals climbing into the hundreds of thousands within a decade.
