A praise group from the Camillus First United Methodist Church is putting on a concert Sunday.

And it may be taking the first step in a recording career.

The free 4 p.m. concert by C1 Praise Band - called "Washington Relived" - at the church at 12 Genesee St. is open to the public.

The Rev. Mike Grinnals said he was spending time in July at the Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, D.C. The praise band - he is a member - came to visit.

They did a concert at a nearby church on July 5. And apparently were a hit.
