Shame on Clive Barnes for claiming to have seen Alicia Alonso as Hagar in Pillar of Fire [May 2003]. The ballet was Nora Kaye's exclusive property during her tenure at ABT. After her retirement, it was several years before it was reinstated, and Sallie Wilson took on the role.
