NEWARK, N.J., Sept. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey (Horizon BCBSNJ) today announced that it has begun implementing a contingency plan in response to a notice of termination received from Saint Barnabas Health Care System. The notice signals the hospital system's intent to withdraw from the Horizon Hospital Network. Horizon BCBSNJ has a total of sixty-eight hospitals in its network.
