Bengkulu, Bengkulu, Aug 19 (ANTARA) - A French investor has reportedly expressed his readiness to finance the building of a railway system across Sumatra island, a Bengkulu provincial official said. "The French investor will attend the All-Sumatra Governors' Coordination Meeting which will open here on Aug 21 (to discuss development issues, including the proposed Trans-Sumatra Railway project)," head of the Information and Communications office of Bengkulu Province Chairuddin said on Tuesday.
