The Emerald Health Network, Cleveland's second-largest preferred provider organization, has been sold to a management-led investor group.
Burt Bundgus, Emerald's president and chief executive officer, told Crain's last week the sale closed April 12. Mr. Bundgus was among four managers and four private investors from California who bought Emerald from 12 local hospitals. He declined to reveal a sale price.
