Ms. Kawaguchi expressed her profound sorrow over the recent terrorist attack in Jerusalem, and extended her wishes for a speedy recovery to the families of the victims. The Japanese minister informed Mr. Shalom that she had spoken about this issue with PA Foreign Minister Nabil Shaath, telling him that the Palestinians must fight terrorism.
