Industrialists expressed optimism that were enthusiasm early 2003 that steel market will soon recover form the slump in 2002 following the revival of the property and automotive sectors. The world steel market also grew early this year. A number of Asian countries notably China, which last year was a major exporter of steel products imported large volume of steel because of growing domestic demand early this year.
