A Seattle man was sentenced to 25 years in prison yesterday in a crowded King County courtroom, where emotions ran high and the slain man's tearful family tried to explain their loss.

Meschak Moondance Lefcourt hung his head as relatives of Samuel Raught, the 30-year-old man he stabbed to death last November, vented anger and expressed pain.

Raught's father, Jerry, said he still wakes up every morning and reaches for his dead son's picture.
