SOUTH BEND, Ind., Aug. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Football fans and stamp collectors today paid homage to the stars of yesteryear when four new commemorative postage stamps were issued by the U.S. Postal Service as part of festivities surrounding the induction of 15 modern-day greats into the College Football Hall of Fame.
Walter Camp, Ernie Nevers, Red Grange and Bronko Nagurski are featured on the Early Football Heroes stamps now available at South Bend Post Offices. The 37-cent stamps will be available at Post Offices across the country starting Aug. 9.
