FROM the humble village of Baler, Tayabas Province (now Quezon Province), to the hallowed halls of Malaca?ang Palace, in Manila one mans life spanned the history of the Filipino peoples struggle for freedom and self-rule. President Manuel L. Quezon epitomized this historic struggle.
