Interstate Resources, Inc. President Charles Feghali was recently awarded the 2003 Ellis Island Medal of Honor during a special ceremony on Ellis Island in New York Harbor.
Established in 1986 by the National Coalition of Ethnic Organizations, Ellis Island Medals of Honor pay tribute to the ancestry groups that comprise America's unique cultural mosaic. To date, some 1300 ethnic American citizens and Native Americans have received medals.
