Carrying The Good Word

The insurance industry may never be able to head-off attacks by "telling our story." Nevertheless, that story must be told for at least three reasons.

First, consumers are less likely to be duped by ambitious "advocates" if they understand the likely consequences of anti-industry proposals.

Second, politicians must be equipped with the information they need to make rational decisions on insurance matters.

Third, the people who work in the industry - the ones who've been personally hurt by cheapshot critics - deserve to be reminded of the ...
