Should modern audiences care about a dance Doris Humphrey made back in 1931?
Ina Hahn, founder and artistic director of Windhover Dance Company, certainly thinks so. "How does a Bach cantata sound now?" she asks. "Or one of his preludes and fugues? Have those works died or become old-fashioned? I don't think so. My young dancers love her work. And by the way, Humphrey is the Bach of dance."
