ALA Midwinter: Weather, War, Worries
The American Library Association, headquartered in Chicago, isn't scheduled back in town for years to come. While libraries will be visiting such cities as Atlanta, San Francisco, San Antonio, and Miami to attend yearly mid-winter (January) and annual (June/July) conferences, Chicago won't be their destination until 1995.
