Rough times buffet Buffums store chain

Buffums, the Long Beach-based retailer that has been losing money for at least four years, may soon close its doors, sources said last week. The company's biggest net loss came in fiscal year 1990, ended June 30, when it lost $4.8 million on revenues of $109.1 million, according to a report issued by Dun & Bradstreet.
