Izar's Sestao, Spain, yard last month launched the Francis Beaufort, a suction dredge with a capacity of 11,300 cubic meter, for Belgium's Jan de Nul. The launch ceremony, that took place last 15th of May, was followed by the naming of a sister ship, Filippo Bruneleschi, launched two months earlier.

Delivery of the Filippo de Bruneleschi is set for September september, while the Francis Beaufort is scheduled for November delivery. Both dredges will be deployed in southeaset Asia
