With the Rev. Naw-Karl Mua's release from a Laotian prison reportedly imminent, supporters at a prayer vigil Wednesday said they could feel the St. Paul pastor's presence even though he was thousands of miles away.
"His spirit is here," said the Rev. Marggi Pleiss-Sippola of Beaver Lake Lutheran Church in St. Paul, which shares a building with Mua's Lutheran church, Light of Life.
