The brown-headed nuthatch has me wrapped around its little claw.
One of the most appealing birds around, this small nuthatch appears feisty and vulnerable at the same time, a lot like tiny but aggressive hummingbirds.
With a brown cap as its name implies, the brown-headed nuthatch has a whitish breast and dark back with a little gray spot at the nape of its neck. It's a cute, chunky little bird with a bill that looks too long for its size and a tail that looks too short.
