GTE Wants Cross-Ownership Rules Reviewed

WASHINGTON -- The FCC should promptly resurrect its docket on whether to eliminate telephone-cable cross-ownership restrictions, GTE Service Corp. told the commission in a filing that discusses the agency's proposals to regulate basic cable rates.
