Wind power complex in Santa Catarina.

The Sao Paulo-based company Cenael (Central Nacional de Energia Eolica) is erecting a wind power complex in Agua Doce (Santa Catarina state), to start up as of Oct. The complex involves eight power turbines, with 4.8 MW capacity. Cenael has a 20-year PPA (power purchase agreement) with Celesc (Centrais Eletricas de Santa Catarina), signed in 2002.
