I'm not sure that history will pay that much attention to him.... The fact is that many of the laws that he sponsored--Open Meetings Act, Auto Lemon Law, the Freedom of Information Act, many, many others--roll off the tongues of thousands of Michiganians every day, but precious few have any clue as to the author of the bills. That's a shame.
