Taking the anti-drug campaign closer to Filipino homes, President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo yesterday launched the Batang Iwas Droga (BIDA) animated program aimed at encouraging the youth to stay away from illegal drugs.
Days after she ordered a renewed crackdown against proliferation of illicit drugs, the President also deputized over 15,000 children aged six- to 12 years old as members of the BIDA project in Luneta park.
