Even a polished performer like Sir Terence Conran cannot help getting a glint in his eye as the enthusiasm takes over and he talks about his latest opening. The Grand Cafe And Bar in the Royal Exchange building opens on Fri 20 Jun and may well be a signpost to the future as far as London restaurants are concerned. It could just be that over-the-top and complicated dishes have had their day and now the new watchword is simple. Simple food. Simple service.
