Game of musical ships begins on San Diego Bay.(USS Constellation)

The USS Constellation returned from the war in Iraq June 2 amid fog and considerable fan fare.
Yet the aircraft carrier's last stay on San Diego Bay is going to be brief.
The Navy will decommission the 41-year-old Constellation on Aug. 7.
In the months to follow, aircraft carriers will be coming and going between North Island, Washington state, and Virginia in a shuffle that will resemble a giant game of musical chairs.
That shuffle will ripple through the San Diego economy.
