Singapore Airlines is planning to raise cash through a debt issue after suffering losses from a decline in traffic prompted by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS). The airline has experienced losses of almost SGD7m per day since April 2003. The details of Singapore Airlines' plan have not been revealed.
