I was interested to see the P-I quote Cap. Mike Sanford of the Seattle Police Department saying that protesters brought jars, propellants and ball bearings to the LEIU (Law Enforcement Intelligence Unit) protest on Monday. While police claim that protesters came for a fight, which side actually used violence? Every one of the pictures in the P-I show people being attacked, gassed or arrested by a police officer.

There is not one independent confirmation of any heavy or dangerous objects being thrown at police. The police confirmed this by refusing to show journalists any ...
