1 Present status
(1) Large-scale production
The production of concentrated nitric acid has developed rapidly in recent years. According to data from the Statistics Bureau of China, the output of concentrated nitric acid was 991 200 tons in 2002, an increase of 12.68% over the previous year.
To enhance competitiveness, a new 100 000 t/a concentrated nitric acid unit in Jinan Chemical Fertilizer Plant is currently under construction and will be completed and put on stream in 2004.
