Walking through her greenhouse, Stephanie Renaker-Jansen pulls the leaves off a rosemary herb plant, rolls it into a ball between her fingers to release the scent of its natural oils, and gently sniffs its fragrance.

"This one has a pine scent. It's one of my favorites," said Renaker-Jansen who owns Reminiscent Herb Farm with her husband, Dick, a landscape architect.
