GREENSBORO -- Owners of The Blind Tiger nightclub are scaling back Tuesday Night Funk, one of the Triad's only weekly events geared toward hip-hop music.

The event still will be held every Tuesday night at The Blind Tiger, 2115 Walker Ave., as it has been for two years.

But the nightclub's owners will no longer host rap groups and have asked that the disc jockeys who provide the entertainment mix more records made by old Top 40 artists such as Prince and Morris Day, as well as hip-hop music.
