Jury Ostrowsky and Jack Arnoff, joint managers of Pictet Asset Management's Eastern European fund, believe in the importance of the ability to predict specific events that will trigger attractive stocks to release their potential."Essentially we are bottom-up stock pickers and are looking for companies with an interesting story. We are looking for stocks that are good value but that also have a trigger. There are lots of undervalued companies in our region but they need a trigger event to unlock their value," says Arnoff.
