Less than three years after the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) ruled that nonunion employees have the right to have a co-worker present during an investigatory interview, seven major business groups--including the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM)--flled an amicus brief Feb. 24 urging the board in several pending cases to revisit the issue and reverse its position.
