Funk Software has launched Odyssey Client v2.0, a major new release of their secure 802.1x access client which adds new usability and pre-configuration features that allow enterprises to significantly minimize deployment and ongoing support costs associated with secure WLAN access. The new version also supports wired 802.1x connections, permitting user-based authentication to wired LANs, plus use of a single 802.1x client for secure access on wireless and wired networks.
