My brother and sister fights constantly. My brother insult my sister. Then my sister scream at my brother. Our family are always in an uproar.
That Paragraph doesn't sound right, does it? That's because not only do the people in the paragraph disagree--so do the subjects and verbs!
The subject and verb of a sentence should always match each other in number. This agreement is important for clear, logical writing. If you don't conform to this rule, readers may have trouble following who or what is doing what action--and may find themselves thinking more ...
