Why harm sharks?

Some people are harming sharks. Those people use shark fins for food. The number of sharks living in our oceans is going down. Scientists are working to help sharks. They want more sharks to live in the oceans.

A shark has gill slits on the side of its head. Gills help a shark breathe.
