Ask Angela Gallup whether her dog, Jolie, is spoiled, and she doesn't hesitate: "Oh, yes," she admits.

Jolie is a 3-year-old bichon frise who revels in being the center of Gallup's attention.

Gallup, of Fairmount, got the dog from a breeder in Clay three years ago. "I went to look at her, and I fell in love with her. I said, "I'll take her home.' She was 6 weeks old," she recalls.

She named the curly white dog Jolie after actress Angelina Jolie.

She loves that the dog doesn't shed. "They've got hair like silk," she says of ...
