Saint François

Saint François or Saint Francis. 1 River, 165 mi (266 km) long, rising in Lac St. François, SE Que., Canada, and flowing SW through Lac Aylmer to Sherbrooke, then NW past Drummondville to Lac St. Pierre of the St. Lawrence River. There are several hydroelectric stations on its course. 2 River, c.60 mi (100 km) long, rising in the Notre Dame Mts., SE Que., Canada, and flowing generally SE to the St. John River. It forms part of the Quebec and New Brunswick boundary with N Maine.
