Rohtak
Rohtak , city (1991 pop. 216,096), Haryana state, N central India. Rohtak is a district administrative center and a market for grain and cotton. Sculpture from the Buddhist period (c.600 BC) has been uncovered there. The city contains several constituent colleges of Punjab Univ.
