Jean Daurat

Jean Daurat , 1508?-1588, French classical scholar. He taught (1546-56) at the Collège de Coqueret at Paris. Among his pupils were the poets Ronsard, Du Bellay, Baïf, and Belleau, who included him in the Pléiade (see under Pleiad ).
