Félix édouard émile Borel

Félix Édouard Émile Borel , 1871-1956, French mathematician. He is noted for his work in infinitesimal calculus and the calculus of probabilities. He was professor at the Univ. of Paris (1904-41), director of the Henri Poincaré Institute (from 1927), and a representative in the French chamber of deputies (1924-36).
