Jabal River

[or Bar al-Jabal] River, south-central Sudan. The river flows northward 594 mi (956 km) over the Fula Rapids, past Juba (the head of navigation), and through a vast swampy region. It receives the Ghazl River at Lake No and then turns east to join the Sb River of western Ethiopia, thereafter forming the White Nile River.For more information on Jabal River, visit Britannica.com.
