French oil giant Total evacuated employees and their families from Gabon's coastal oil hub to the capital on Saturday after mobs besieged the company's offices in postelection violence.
A minimal number of Total employees remained in Port Gentil after the "temporary withdrawal" Friday to Libreville, company spokeswoman Phenelope Semavoine said.
