Written for sch. orch. of St Paul's Girls’ Sch., Hammersmith, where Holst was dir. of mus. from 1905. 4 movts. are Jig, Ostinato, Intermezzo, and Finale: the Dargason (in which the tune Greensleeves is used as a counterpoint).
